An ideal cue tip for players who want to reduce momentum of the cue ball and apply more reaction on the cue ball. It is more difficult to bring the cue ball to where the player is aiming with a standard tip, but the traveling speed of the object ball is slower. Player is able to pursue control of the cue ball with great ease.
 
I've been playing the game for a few years myself now and for the last couple of months, I've used one of these tips on my cue. I play for a premier league snooker team at my local club and therefore would class myself as a high standard amateur player, regularly averaging breaks of between 50 & 60.
